I don't think that I need to describe what 'no' feels like.  Who out there hasn't felt shame and fear when thinking "I'm not ____— enough"?  I've even thought it when people were giving me a compliment.  My internal dialogue would drown them out thinking "If they knew what I was REALLY like...they wouldn't be saying that".

It is question we all ponder occasionally, and:

Dr. Seuss was a wise man when he said, "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

cried, "Be who you are and say what you feel" Dr Seuss offers some great advice.

"I'm not ____— enough"? My life doesn't allow me the use of this thought. I never have the opportunity to think like this. I just wrote three paragraphs why and elected to shorten the answer and be more direct.

Thanks- A seed that makes you think and reach deep for some personal insight.

Maybe your life doesn't, but to many of us mere mortals it is a common occurrence. Self doubt is like a millstone around some of our necks.

Don't get me wrong, I am glad that this hasn't been allowed into your life.

"say what you feel"

cried. People need to lose that phase! It doesn't work. IMO It is an excuse. "but to many of us mere mortals" of which I am one also. I coached soccer I never went into a game with a thought like that. I teach them nothing but bring our best. You are in a war...I have to get them to play above their skills win by teaching them to come with their hearts. I can't teach failure is ok. I teach them to deal with losing, I teach them how to deal with failure. But it's not how we showed up. I'm showing up to win. I'm showing up to play with everything we are. Will we lose? Maybe. But it's not because we didn't believe we could win.

One time I'm in charge of 55 people. How do I tell them all Ï'm not_____enough"? They have families, animals, homes, cars, kids in college how do I get to say sorry "I'm not______enough?" Out of all of us I'm the one that has get them to belive we can overcome anything, anyday, anywhere, No problems...Just solutions, No failures just another obstacle.

Right now I'm building three companies, I can't say that. I don't believe that. I don't have the room for such a statement and I sure don't want to hear it from anyone around me. Now I have people say that to me and I ask them then find me the brains that can fix this. Find me that someone who can fix this. I understand you can't but I need it fixed. Again solutions...Not Ï'm not ______enough?"

I am still working...I just asked have you guys ever heard me use this statement..They laughed like I was joking...NO NEVER... I am mortal...

Repeat Jessie Jackson's "Ï Am Somebody" until you believe it...Don't whisper it...I mean louder and louder until you hear it ringing down the hall or down the street. Believe in you...trust in yourself with all that you are. No shame if you fail because you are a "mere mortal"

IF Ï'm not_____enough"? Then what are you? Who are you then, Take that millstone around your neck and throw it in the trash it is just weighing you down...Fly my friend...Fly...

When you attack your weaknesses they become your strengths!

First, my friend WW thank you for the kick in the butt!

That was exactly what this article was about. Though I read the words, evidently I didn't take them in fully.

Next, sorry about the mere mortals statement, I was meaning that as a small funny... it sounds like it fell flat (sigh). I will (and I hope everyone who reads this seed will also) take your words, and the words in the article to heart.

Good luck to you today, and Take care!

cried- When you ask me this..guess what you are going to get? LMAO. Travel well my friend and really toss that thing around your neck it's strangling you!

"Ï Am Somebody" over and over until you believe it!

cried, "mere mortals statement" that's all I am as well and I fail everyday. The more you do the greater the chance you have at failure. Hope you can get comfortable with failure. You do nothing. You've failed. You do 10 things, 10 times more likely to fail..Me..I'll take the shot at getting one of those 10 things right.
